im a little late with this post. a few weeks ago we (mom, greg, maddie, taylor, me, katelin, and christina) went to cozumel. i refuse to call it a spring break trip because i dont believe after college you have a spring break. for maddie and christina it was a SB trip, but for the rest of us, just a getaway. we laid on the beach everyday, went deep sea fishing, and ate lots of good food. here are some pics from our trip. thanks mom and greg!

okay, i have a new addiction...COUPONS! am i crazy?! about a month ago i was introduced to a whole new world...coupon blogs! its so fun, its a treasure hunt to me and i cant wait for monday nights when i get to go use my skills. since i dont cook that much i usually only buy stuff thats on sale...last week at publix, my total before coupons was $28 and after was $2! and the goodies arent just at the grocery store, this week i have gotten free meals at zaxbys and arbys. heres a list of my favorite blogs:

so taylor got a new dog about a month ago. he is a black lab mix and he is a terror. im not really a fan of him, that is a well known fact. in the past week he has jumped out of the car window while taylor was driving and he has swallowed a quarter (there were some nasty side effects with that!). anyways, we are babysitting buster while hollie & pete are out of town. buster and remy are bff. they play ALL day long. they play tug of war, wrestle, and do something that rhymes with dump. haha. buster is a goldendoodle and he is a great dog. he has so much personality. buster and remy finally sat still enough for us to take their pic.

i passed the ches exam!!!!!

ok, i am sure that this means nothing to anyone, and no one has no clue what it is, BUT....i passed the CHES exam!! that means i am now a certified health education specialist, an unemployed one, but still one. haha. back in april i took the test. i wasnt really thrilled about it, it was an early saturday morning and i missed a trip to ga, but stayed behind to take the test. it was sooooo hard and i was convinced that i failed, but i found out yesterday, i passed!!! it took forever to get the results bc i had to wait for my degree to be conferred. so after lots of my moms money (test fees, study books, etc.) btw, why is it so expensive to take a test?! i got a piece of paper! so maybe now i can get a job....or not. hey, its not my fault the economys bad :)

another christmas has come and gone. but i am sure christmas will be here again before i know it. we had christmas with all over our 300 families, ok so maybe not that many, and got lots of goodies then we headed off to gatlinburg for xtreme. we rang in the new year there and will about 6,000 of our dearest friends. not really. maddie and hannah came to gatlinburg for a few days and we went to one of those places that you go through dirt to find gemstones. our grandma used to take us to do this all the time, so we had fun doing it, although taylor thought it was dumb. here are some pics: me, maddie, & hannh looking for treasure, saphie with her christmas present from mom, and my loves on christmas morning!

taylor left to go racing in florida with jake and d and i decided to stay back this trip. we miss taylor but saphie and i are enjoying watching law & order marathons and not having to watch the golf channel :) it reminds me of the good ole days in lynchburg. so now i am over at hollies hanging out with her and her crazy girls. heres me and ads. they are too much.

so after the race in south boston (we dont wanna talk about that race) taylor and i decided to come to wilmington for the week. we have had so much fun hanging out with everyone that we dont get to see that much and eat tons of great food. yesterday we went to my grandparents and had fish and grits, and for lunch had a burger from merritts. yum! and then tonite we are headed to my dads to roast oysters. we got to see my sisters new apt and all the little kiddos that arent little anymore :( taylor, maddie, and i are gonna take them all trick or treating on halloween so that will be fun...or exhausting. the weather has been great. sunny and not too cool. we are planning on going back to the atl saturday after my little brothers football game, so later.

yesterday was katies birthday and taylor and i went to pcb to hang out with everyone. it was so much fun! we took a pontoon boat out to shell island and i found all sorts of sea creatures. we even found one creature we wish we wouldnt have...a SHARK! when we realized he was swimming right beside us, deanna and i grabbed each other and ran so fast to shore. it was so scary. i cant believe katie is TEN, i remember when she was born. it makes me feel so old! heres a pic of taylor and me at the beach. our favorite place!

okay, so i know it has been a while since i have updated this blog, but i am going to do better, i promise! alrighty, well where to start? taylor and i got married july 12 in wilmington and everything was great! the wedding and reception were just how we wanted them! we had so many kids there and they were all so well behaved and so cute. addie even brought me my bouquet when i forgot it. oops. and dalton had to carry his Bible down the aisle! anyways, so then after the we went on our honeymoon to the cayman islands and it was so beautiful there! the water was amazing and i even kissed a stingray! anyways, here are some pics...
